1. Agreement
By accessing or using Normado ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of service
Normado provides an AI-powered compliance and security management platform that helps organizations generate security policies, manage compliance frameworks, track risks, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
3. Account registration
To use the Platform, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. AI-generated content
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate security policies and compliance documents. Important disclaimers:
- AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by qualified personnel before implementation
- Normado does not guarantee that generated policies will satisfy all regulatory requirements for your specific situation
- You are responsible for reviewing, customizing, and approving all policies before use
- Normado is not a law firm, consultancy, or certification body — we provide tools, not legal advice
5. Your data
You retain ownership of all data you input into the Platform and all content generated based on your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your policies, documents, or organizational data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform to generate misleading or fraudulent compliance documentation
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Platform
- Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Overload the Platform with automated requests or abuse the AI generation features
7. Subscription and billing
Normado offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Normado shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Normado in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. No compliance guarantee
Normado helps you build and manage your security program, but we do not guarantee compliance with any specific regulation, standard, or framework. Achieving compliance depends on many factors beyond the scope of our platform, including your organization's implementation, culture, and ongoing management of security controls.
10. Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages that temporarily affect availability.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
